Jefferson Consulting Group Awarded USAID Technical, Administrative and Programmatic Support (TAPS) Services Contract

Jefferson Consulting Group announces the recent award by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) of a five-year, $62 million contract to provide technical assistance, administrative support, and programmatic support services to the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security (REFS), USAID Operating Units, and overseas Missions.

The Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security (REFS) coordinates across USAID Missions, Bureaus, and independent offices to advance inclusive agriculture-led growth, resilience, nutrition, environmental sustainability, infrastructure and energy, and water security, sanitation and hygiene initiatives in priority countries around the world to help accelerate and protect development progress. The Bureau’s overarching goal is to strengthen USG’s global leadership for achieving inclusive agriculture-led growth, resilience, nutrition, environment, and water security, sanitation, and hygiene.

Jefferson, along with our partners International Development Group LLC (IDG) and XL Associates (XLA), will provide comprehensive support to REFS’ work at the Bureau, Missions, and operating units. Specifically, under the TAPS contract, we will provide subject matter expertise on short-term assignments, and fulfill daily staffing requirements with junior and mid-level professionals throughout the contract’s duration. Our support will extend to technical centers focusing on agriculture-led growth, water security, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), nutrition, climate and natural environments, energy and infrastructure, and resilience, as well as programmatic offices. Through core administrative and programmatic support and demand-driven technical assistance, Team Jefferson will play a vital role in the implementation of key U.S. Government’s global initiatives, including Feed the Future, the U.S. Global Water Strategy, the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE), Climate Strategy, and the Global Food Security Strategy.

“Jefferson is thrilled to continue supporting the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security through the TAPS mechanism.  REFS spearheads critical initiatives addressing global challenges and promotes inclusive solutions that pave the way for a resilient and sustainable future. Team Jefferson takes pride in its role, offering expertise and vital ongoing support to the Bureau, USAID Missions, and collaborating partners in furthering these crucial initiatives”, said Janet Clement, CEO at Jefferson Consulting Group.
